The Halton Region Community Investment Fund (HRCIF) enhances the health, safety and well-being of Halton residents by providing funding to non-profit social service and community health programs.

The Halton Region Community Investment Fund (HRCIF) enhances the health, safety and well-being of Halton residents. It provides funding to non-profit social service and community health programs and initiatives. The HRCIF also supports issues emerging from community safety and well-being planning. There are three categories providing over $2,300,000 in annual funding.

  • Category One: Provides funding to social service and community health programs aligned with HRCIF funding priorities for short-term, small capital and/or innovative projects. Grants are for one year and up to $30,000. Non-profit, charitable and unincorporated community organizations may apply. Application closed.

  • Category Two: Provides funding to social service and community health programs aligned with HRCIF funding priorities for up to three years of program funding. Applicants must be a registered charity to apply. Application closed.

  • Category Three: Provides funding to programs that enhance food security. Proposals that demonstrate a collaborative or innovative approach will be given priority. Non-profit and/or charitable organizations may apply. Application closed.
