Introduction

EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide opportunities for children from birth to six years of age to participate in play and inquiry-based programs, and support parents and caregivers in their roles.

Effective January 1, 2018, Ontario Early Years Child and Family Centres will be known as EarlyON Child and Family Centres (external link).

New look, same quality services

EarlyON Child and Family Centres will continue to be places where parents and caregivers of children up to six years can:

  • participate with their children in a range of programs and activities
  • get information and support they are looking for, to raise happy and healthy children
  • get guidance from qualified child care professionals about child development, activities and resources
  • network with other parents and caregivers in the community

Supports for parents

Halton Region offers programs and services for families to support healthy child development and positive parenting, starting in preconception/pregnancy through raising teenagers.
