Halton Region Public Health will be holding community immunization clinics throughout the summer to help students 7 years of age and older catch up on missed doses of routine vaccines. Students can book an appointment online. Walk-in appointments are available as clinic capacity allows.
Parents of children 4 – 6 years of age with questions about their child’s immunization record are encouraged to follow-up with their health care provider or call 311 in Halton, or 905-825-6000, to book an appointment for a Vaccine Check with a public health nurse.
The Health Department leads efforts in Halton Region to prevent disease and optimize health for all citizens. Part of our work includes promoting immunization/vaccination, and monitoring compliance with provincial requirements for immunization/vaccination.
