Halton Region is hosting a job fair on Tuesday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oakville Conference & Banquet Centre (2515 Wyecroft Road, Oakville). Job seekers are invited to bring their resumés and meet with more than 90 local employers.
“Halton’s strong economy, surge in job growth and low levels of unemployment make us a leading Regional Municipality in Ontario,” said Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr. “The Employment Halton Job Fair is a great opportunity for talented job seekers to connect with employers from a variety of industries.”

Each year, Employment Halton offers placements and skills training programs to assist 12,500 job seekers as they navigate the competitive job market. Through employment workshops and one-on-one sessions, Employment Halton’s on-site staff helps job seekers create resumés, prepare for interviews and ultimately find meaningful work.
