Halton Region is hosting a job fair on Tuesday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oakville Conference Centre (2515 Wyecroft Road, Oakville). Job seekers are invited to bring their resumés and meet with more than 90 local employers.
“Halton’s strong economy, steady job growth and low levels of unemployment make us one of the best regions in Canada,” said Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr. “By connecting job seekers with employers at the Employment Halton job fair, we’re strengthening our economy and ensuring Halton remains a great place to live and work.”
Employers from a variety of industries such as healthcare, financial services, advanced manufacturing, information technology and more choose to call Halton home. Each year, Employment Halton connects over 12,000 job seekers with over 250 local employers through Regional programs. Employment Halton’s on-site staff offer workshops and one-on-one sessions to help job seekers create resumés, prepare for interviews and ultimately find meaningful work.
